  1. Nice jars, great deal on those. How are you going to display them? The two dolls are very prim. As for the one with no nose or mouth, draw one on or let her sit awhile and see how you like her without. Did you notice that the pillow matches the same picture as the painted crate you found? Probably painted by the same person. Good finds.

  2. I wish I could figure out how to display them, right now they are in the crate on a black 5 tier standing shelve. I was thinkin about tryin some homespun on the sides and back of the crate their in but dont think it will look good. I probably will end up doing craft projects with them. Any ideas on how to display?

  3. You could take each jar and do something different with each one.
    1. Take one and put a battery operated grunge light in and secure with fun tack in the bottom of the jar and add a berry wreath around that inside. Close the lid and tie a check ribbon around the neck. There! now you have a lamp.

    2. Put gray floral moss in bottom of jar and add a few pastel colored eggs on top. Tie a piece of muslin around the neck and close the lid.

This is just a couple of ideas. Once you get creating, the juices will flow and you will figure out what to do with the rest of them.
Decorate one for each room of you home.
    Hope this inspires you.

  4. Hey Tam, it's me again. Just wanted to add that the pastel eggs are the ones that are speckled and are used for ornaments, they come in a container, I found some at Joann fabrics, on sale half price in the easter aisle for 1.50. original price was 2.99. if you use this idea, the eggs look like they are sitting in a nest in the jar.
As for the question on how to display the wire rack. You could paint it black and tie some check ribbon on one handle and add some hang tags with country or prim sayings. Display some of the jars inside the rack plain or modge podge some homemade labels on the front, like the small jar you have.
Just another thought. I will check back with you and see what you come up with.

  5. LOL - I love the "NOW BROKE" remark. I can definitely relate to that after getting such great finds. They're hard to pass up, especially the ones you found. :)

Love those glass jars. Tammy had some great ideas. You might also - if you want something colorful - turn one of them into faux stained glass. I did so on one of my glass votives, and it's super easy:
